Clean out petrol tank

G'day blokes, Process of elimination indicates that I am not getting fuel from the fuel tank. The previous owner had used the car as a paddock basher so I'm not surprised. I live in a rather remote location and don't have a radiator/petrol tank repairer in the local area. Any ideas/suggestions to help me clean out the crap will be most appreciated. I guess the old pebbles in a bit of petrol and a whole lot of shaking going on may be the answer. Any other help will be great. Thanks Bob.

Yeah blue metal or metal chain and alot of shaking works well
