A mate of mine had an Express with a 2lt Starion conversion after he got T-boned in his Starion and it was written off.

Another mate was doing a 2.4lt conversion (edit: Non mivec out of a MK triton)to a Nimbus, it was 90-95% done... he proposed to his then Girlfriend at the time... he had to sell it as an "unfinished project". It sold and they reno'd the bathroom and ive got no idea what happenend to it after that.

I worked with a guy that did a Supercharged V6 commi conversion to a Mazda E2200 (Econo Van) and left the "Diesel" Badges on, it wasnt real quick but quick enough to scare the shit out of a Clubsport, VL turbo etc.

There use to be a LWB Hiace with a Lexus V8 in it Kicking around Launceston and the N/W coast, ive got a feeling the guy fell asleep behind the wheel and put it into a stormwater drain.

and there was a VW Kombi camper getting around for a while with a 2.5lt (i cant remember if it was turbo or not) Liberty Motor in it.
