Price of LPG

Have people noticed that LPG prices have risen sharply in the last 12 months?.
When I had our Camry installation done in January of this year it was on average 48 cents per litre.

Now last Friday when Igot my last fill it was 62.5 cents per litre
Thatsd a increase of 14.5 cents which is equivalent to over 25%.That is ridiculous.

I mean why do Australians have to pay so much for LPG Autogas.
Rudd is selling it to China for 5 cents per litre or less!!!!.

Not only that but what about the big gas find off the coast of W.A.
Those that have stakes in the project are
1.Chevron.50%
2.Texaco25%
3.Shell25%
Not one cent of Australian equity in the project.
Of course you would assume thet the stakeholders are making reasonable profits.

I cannot undrstand it ,how can we stand by and let it happen...

Yes , its a rip-off

LPG has aways been about 1/3 the price of ULP, now it is around 1/2

And that is without the excise tax they are going to add to it in a couple of years.

Oddly enough was thinking the same today when filling up the work van...
69.9C/Ltr, thought that was starting to get rather pricey for LPG ? oh well... just the usual for everything i spose

normal old unleaded is 124c ish
ultimate is 168c ish to 175c ish

you get to it over here. lol, ultimate is 140.9 cents at the new bp at the airport, filled the scorp up today.
