boost with normal dizzy

boost with normal dizzy

hey guys. i've had issues EFIing silvia. i was going to use the dizzy out of jet as i knew it was good to run boost.. the vacume advance was just blocked off..

can i do a similar thing with my current dizzy to get it to run boost? or will i have problems?

All depends if anything else has been done to it. I've been dodgy in the past and locked the mechanical advance with a bolt!!! Or you could be lucky and it has been recurved properly to suit boost.

its strange that my turbo dizzy dosn't work.. and i cant find the original dizzy from the original silvia that was turboed and done properly to suit. i think i gave it away with my red scorpion when i sold it.. :(
