Searching for New Moderators...

As the title of the topic stats, I'm 'Searching for New Moderators...'

Who is interested in learning what it takes to help run a forum and get involved?
Computer genius's are not required, but someone who is willing to learn and put time in is.
Please reply below if you are interested.
I will be looking at what activity you have on the forum, what type of posts you have, and what you add to the forum.
This is not a popularity contest.
I'm just looking for someone who's honest and has the good of the forum at heart.

I already moderate another forum but it has really died off over the last few years... (facebook)
I check this site everyday as you'll see from my logs..

So all 3 of you are prepared to spend about 1/2hr a day removing spam posts (that's what it currently takes me).
The spammers are smashing the forum atm.
Ordinary members don't see it as the mods/admins have to approve the first couple of posts of a new member before they can be seen on the main page.

I'm also looking for some help on the FB page, ultimately I'm after the same person who's willing to do both.

I normally spend minimum 30mins a night reading and re reading old posts (mainly build forums)

I'd like to learn how to run a forum as I planning to run a full car show (hopefully) in the near future

For now with the current site traffic I think the need is there for only 1 extra mod.
I have read through all 3 cases, I don't know who to choose?

I just want to publicly put an announcement out there for Scorpma82.
Mate you are a legend.
I know no one but the mod/admin team can see what he's doing, but he's getting in there and getting stuck right into what needs to happen on a day to day running of the forum.
I'm glad I chose you.
Part of the reason I chose you is, you've been here for a long time, and you've been a constant presence on the forum even through it's slow points

The site needs people who are active, motivated, and willing to get involved. You seem to meet that criteria.

The current line up we have is handling traffic on the forum, so there's no need for any additions atm.
I appreciate history here, but we're not really looking at history, we're looking to the future.
Saying that, maybe it's time for me to move on?


Any possible additions would need to have commitment, and have a genuine interest in what is displayed on here.
I'm not saying you aren't up to it Vaughn, but there's been a very long break between, and an obvious switch in interests.

Saying all that, I've had periods of quiet, but things are about to take a change in pace.
Just keep watching the forum for updates.
