It was leaking, but there was no sign of cracks etc. Put some electrical tape on to try and get it to seal better, and that worked. Tried to do it better with proper ring seals. It didn't wo...

Re: Great wall Gearbox.
From research I have done, they have a 'EVO style bolt pattern', hence a narrow block. I have not had a chance to verify it though.

I got these manuals off eBay. http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/tt288/Cottees/Lancer/file-7.jpg http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/tt288/Cottees/Lancer/file.jpg Also, for 4G32, you could get away with getting a Sigma manual. The LC should have a later belt drive engine, and I think the GH/GJ Sigmas...

Yep :D It is a cast of an original LB badge. Since it won't fit as is onto my LC, and I didn't want to cut the NOS badge, I have been trying to make a copy of it. The original badge and the first crappy mould I made. http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/tt288/Cottees/Badges/IMG_2391.jpg Made some wax ...

Tried out replicating the GT badge again, and got it a little better. Re: Starion rear end into lancer?
http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/tt288/Cottees/Sigma/DSC01255.jpg This is a rear assembly out of a Starion. The mounts all line up and bolt to the chassis rails in the Starion, as well as the Sigmas and Scorpions. Since the Lancers are smaller than that group of cars, it probably wont fit without...

Re: Cottees' 1987 Sigma GN GSR Super Edition
I drove the Sigma to go get a cross member yesterday. On the way home there was a strange noise from the engine which sounded like the transmission. Almost home and the power steering went, and was very heavy to steer. Got home and there was power steering fluid everywhere. One of the hoses into the...

Re: Cottees' 1987 Sigma GN GSR Super Edition
Have been on and off for the past couple weeks. Pretty much only when I have absolutely needed it. Will need it tomorrow, then can drive another car Saturday, then may drive it to 84GKSIG's place on Sunday to swap out the cross member. Did take out around the block earlier, and felt much better. But...

With the GSR tow hook being red, it looks like she is sticking her tongue out. http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/tt288/Cottees/Sigma/IMG_0536_zpsc49bab49.jpg Did some more neatening up. Also made and installed a support strap for the heat shield. http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/tt288/Cottees/Sig...

It would be fun, but I could see that it would be difficult to get a time that many people are free. That doesn't mean it can't be tried, and doesn't mean that only one or the other has to be done. For now, going to start with the time trials, and can organise a time that the most amount of people a...
