ebay is great but you can still get most mechanical parts from repco bursons etc, i usually use ebay for panels or cars in general or the local paper for wrecks.

i have an 88 triton and there is adequate clearance to get the sump out without lifting the engine. only thing required really is a angled driver on ur ratchet to get the sump bolts blocked by the crossmember.

its not the needle or plunger sticking. its the throttle/butterfly shaft which the acc cable attachs to. it could have some build up of shit around the butterfly or the shaft itself could be bent.

the cd175 on my carby turbo setup has started sticking at around 2500 - 3000 rpm and staying there. it is somehow getting stuck. everything on the outside of the carby seems to working fine, it is catching somewhere, i believe it to be on the inside. i havent taken the carby off as yet. was wanting ...

SOME MORE INFO ON THE RPW GASKETS:: RPW Service Centre has developed its own range of Turbo Compatible Head Gasket sets. These replace the standard head gaskets which are either 0.80mm thick (Pre 1996 Model Mitsubishi vehicles) or 0.30mm (1997 + Model vehicles which use a Multi Layered Steel - MLS)....

RPW racing performance works also make head gaskets for 4g54's, they make decompression head gaskets for turbo applications. they are 135 plus freight. they come in 3 different thicknesses. they come in 1.10mm 1.50mm or 2.20mm. anyone used these before?? or know more about them???

mine ended up doing that just after i rebuilt it. exact the same, i was running some 90 weight gear oil. ever since for the last couple of years i have been using proper SU oil. it has worked well.
