Re: Ls1 valve springs?
To be completely honest I haven't got around to fitting a set yet, so much going on lately I've barely had time to scratch my arse, let alone fiddle with sigmas..... Soon though...

Re: little hulk
I remember reading that the guys at RPW use the stock ecu in their supercharged v6 conversion. They retune the stock ecu via laptop one would assume.

Re: Ls1 valve springs?
I've got 3 motors to play around with (multiple sigmas) so it works for me. And as I like to fiddle with things, spares are always handy

Would be nice to know for sure, there's a set for sale nearby at a reasonable price. The best part is the one set will do two motors

Ls1 valve springs?
Had a conversation with a speedway bloke a few years back, and I seem to remember him saying that ls1 valve springs, retainers ect will fit the astron valves. Any one here that can confirm that? Hell, even if you've been told the same but haven't tried it.

Re: little hulk
As one of the background stalkers on the site, soaking up information, it's looking good man, love the green. Just wondering what you're try to achieve with the sump mods, is it a clearance thing or are you just not happy with the design? What makes a good sump?

Webber woes
attempted to fit my twin webbers to the old scorp motor for shits and giggles till it blows up (new motor still in progress), pulled the stock manifold and carb off and set to work.......... hang on a minute, damn air-con hoses are in the way, seems i cant have air-con and twin webbers. no matter i ...

Re: cross dressing astrons...
Thanks for that, that's pretty much the information I was hoping to find. I find myself wanting to believe that the lack of power was indeed because of the stock cam and carb, it's what the brain wants to think anyway. Thought about having the A2 head shaved instead of using the A1, but not knowing ...

Re: cross dressing astrons...
thanks for that, I thought all A1 heads were the same, as with stock flat tops (knowing that A2 heads are all over the show) So in theory I should be alright using the A1 head with the Scorpions flat tops... I might just have to bolt it up and see what happens, hoping it doesn't go bang
