Last time I needed a heater core the local Natrad dealer sourced it for me.

Re: Auto/ manual/ 4 speed auto conversion.
I know this is way too late.
A local bloke has converted a couple of T700 auto trans into Sigma's
They apparently work well.
Should be a good thing, and able to handle the power of a reasonably high powered Astron.

The Maxis are good so far.
I haven't done the lowering yet.
I will order some springs next week.

Tyres for a GH Wagoon
Gday all
I have a set of 15x6 Performance Superlights that I want to put on my GH SE wagon.
Any thoughts on a tyre size?
I was thinking a 205/60R15, or maybe a 215.
I will be lowering it mildly.

Yeah, I knew they had Scorpions badged as Plymouth and Dodge, but didn't have a clue about the Sigma

Re: 1988 Triton Ute....powered by BBQ fuel
There is a retired bloke around here has done a few T700 to Astron conversions. He is running one in a turbo 2.6 GH SE, and seems to work really well.
He has said he will give me a disc full of conversion photos so I can post the info.
Might be handy

An Impco 225 should make it heaps easier to get your mixtures closer, and still be able to make the power you want.

All I need is a rebuildable block, with crank and rods. The rest will be either salvaged from the dead 2.6 or replaced with new parts.

Re: 4g54 block
So it's probably factory.
Either way, the block, crank, and a couple of rods, are junk.
Can I just go and get a Magna engine from the wreckers/scrappies for a rebuild, and use the sump, timing cover, and manifolds from the Scorpion engine?
