Yeah it pulls awesome in the race car and had no issues in the bores or with heat (do run methanol though)
Im rebuilding an NG Pajero as full time drive car for business and pleasure and i want that bit more grunt. Hmm maybe back to the drawing board to find another solution.

Should have mentioned its a 4G54 and i want it as a basically standard everyday driver. No balance shafts,34 Weber conversion from ReCarb, extractors, 2"system and Acell coil.

Ive got an Astron 1 head small valves small ports and the small water port.

3f toyota is 92 +1=93 pin is right just needs a bit turned of the top to get back to deck hieght. problemis i cant find out haw far we can bore safely?? I allready have a 2.6 methanol motor and its only $210 for 205 liter drum. I cant afford to start again with EFI and motec computers etc etc. Thats...

Hi Guys Building new methanol speedway engine for my Siggy. The only rules are mitsubishi block must be used :) everything else is open. i have searched every where and i cant find anyone using bigger than 92mm how far can these blocks be bored safely. is 96 to much??? Theres a Sigma speedway car on the sunshine coast with a complete VL K frame struts etc: Ive had a look under it and it looks factory ..must have been an easy conversion.

Yeah im putting in a high comp methanol holley 2.6 so im hoping to have 150+rwhp and plenty of torque.
As a side note that is important in this discussion i suppose.
We have been spinning the 2ltr to 7500+ for years..Is the 2.6 going to take those sort of revs.??
