sweet now i know the how to bed those rings in probley thanks guys, i got some 15w40 run in oil penrite not over pricey but yeah hopefully make another thread up on my galant soon

so i droped the old oil out and the oil that they used was crap as couldnt believe that they would put oil like that in any car. Changed the oil fiter and oil used mobile one fully senthic, still making noise on first start ip after about 2seconds. Maybe my oil pump is on its way out?

Ive finnally got a 2.6 wide block and gear box out of a triton for 150bucks Cheering! It's an astron 1 head, Hmmm its got me worried a little bit, dont know what sort of grade they used, im going to dump the oil and change it, any recommend oil's i could use for running in period?

What sort of oil should i use to run in the engine? And another thing when its cold when i start the engine is sounds like theres no oil in the head, makes bad noise for about a second.. ? oil is all right on level, maybe the oil is to thin?

hey guys ive ran 0 gauge from the alternator to the boot and 0 gague from the starter to active, x2 ground traps from the chassis to the block and one earth at the rear of the chassis to the boot. having problems trying to crank the engine over. theres no voltage drop from the rear of the car to the...

off the top of my head i think its about 2.5metres long where im running my 2gauge, jaycar told me to buy gold plated terminals which ive done,
