Calder Park Raceway/Dance floor

What happend to this place???
Does anybody know if the drag strip will be used for events other than rave parties?? Like maybe, this might sound crazy, but Drag Racing.

If so when will it be open for legal off-street?

Impressive. A good example of how to build a car right.
Is that a hoppers kit on the front?

Re: my 77 galant v6

Looks good.

I've almost finished a GJ sigma with vp v6 and auto trans. Won't be anywhere near as good as your galant power/weight ratio.
Will post pix when done.

Re: LSD

I would love to know how long the r31 diffs would last.
Also how good the lsd would be out of a s/h diff.
I guess good enough if your keeping the can N/A.

Re: Meets

sigmare, you can't cruise rolling shells. Even if your mates are pushing.
I think 80% of members, (including myself) have blown something on their cars to be able to cruise.

Tuff auto conversion

Has anyone put a strong auto behind a 4g54 narrow block? I know LPGalant has C10, what about turbo 400 etc.
Has to last longer than the time it takes to install it.

Who keeps saying jap 5 speeds are good???

Re: VR4 engine into Sigma

Dont bother with mits jap 5 speeds if you plan on making more than 150kw.
Ive blown 2 in 9 months and only making 200rwkw.

I did see a while ago eoi on adaptors to suit series IV/V RX7 gearboxes. Anyone know of this?
