Re: Custom aircon for galant.
I'm in the procees of putting A/C in my Colt. I found an original bracket in the wreckers, but did not want to use the big York lump. (probably bad anyways) I decided to use the very common Sanden type compressor, so to make this happen, I cut the old mounting brackets from the engine plate and sacr...

Re: AII GS
So, what G32 cam/spec would you recommend for the following setup? No unobtanium stuff, needs to be something I can get my hand on reasonably cheap. Stock bottom end Stock 72' exhaust manifold Dual downdraft intake with G52 carbies Head street ported, maybe bigger valves? Car is primarily street dri...

Re: AII GS
I also have the GS gauges in my Colt, and am about to install the dual downdrafts setup on the G32. Was this intake a GS package, or from ? Do you know the cam specs and what the hp rating of a G32 with the dual carbs and hipo cam was?

AII GS
I've been poking around trying to find what exactly made a AII GS different from the standard Colt/Galant and have not found much. I'm sure someone here can enlighten me.

Re: I'm New! Nate from America!
Nate's car is probably one of the nicest unrestored Colts here in the states. Interior is super clean. Car had some minor issues scattered about, but Nate took care of those quickly. (remember the tire issue? LOL) Here is a pic of his car hanging out with mine before it got sent back to him. http://...

Re: GB windscreen
Well, that's good news. I pulled a decent windscreen from a wagon with the hope it was the same as the sedan/coupe, and it would seem it is. Now I have a spare.

GB windscreen
Did a search and did not find a clear answer, so does somebody know for sure if a GB wagon front screen will fit a GB sedan or coupe? I would think it should also fit a GC/D wagon.

Re: 76 Colt Galant Coupe
You know, the sad thing is probably very few people in the US will notice. Not exactly a hotbed of old Mitsu love here. Now, if it was a Datto 1600 with bluebird tails and grill, you would have to keep a towel handy to wipe all the drool off. I went to a local meet a month ago and took my coupe with...

Re: GC/GD Galant Rear Hose
There is an online parts house here in the US that still has them, and pretty cheap. Check out Rockauto.com. I think they ship international also. I get most of my parts from them FWIW.

Here is a pic of my GB coupe (yellow) along with another GB coupe (orange) I helped purchase for a fellow Galant lover. http://inlinethumb31.webshots.com/47966/2495783070070852740S500x500Q85.jpg http://inlinethumb01.webshots.com/45056/2733668920070852740S500x500Q85.jpg Need to get a pic of the GB co...

Re: Newbie w/Sapporo
If you hit up the Classic Colt forum, there is a member there that documented an automatic to 5 speed swap in his Sapporo. He also dropped in a Starion engine, but I do not think he finished it completely. Search for author City Hunter.

Re: My 75' Colt wagon and 72' Coltcoupe
Those are Datsun 280zx turbo wheels, known as "snowflake" wheels here. 15x6 +12The coupe is very nice but what are those wheels on the wagon from? I like them They look a bit like TP Magna Elite but with some dish.

My 75' Colt wagon and 72' Coltcoupe
Been mostly lurking here for quite a while so I figure it's probably time to introduce you to my 2 Dodge Colts. I recognize some of you from the Classic Colt forum, so I'm sure you have seen them before, but for the rest of you, here we go. 75' wagon http://inlinethumb02.webshots.com/41857/293940177...
