Wiper linkage nylon pivot bushes
Im searching for the wiper linkage nylon pivots,especially the one off the wiper motor end for my LA 1974 LANCER.Any options or alternatives. Im trying everything at the moment but original would be better.

KYB gas inserts EXCEL-G 365046 74-77 models.I have them in my LA just make sure you have the tool to remove the holding nuts.

After searching the internet for a while with no success I turned around and lo and behold in my own library I have a PAYEN Japanese oil seal book which lists all the seal sizes.So KM132 gearbox front seal size is 25/35/6 Mitsubishi part no. is K613229-2.Rear is 32/48/8 or 10 ,K615323-2.These seals ...

The rubber companys like Clarke rubber have a cross section listing.I compared my LA and it came very close to a Torana which model I forget, anyway the holes for the locking clips needed to be re cut and the length has to be precise.Joined it with superglue and it worked great.Had it on for 4 years...

Lee in Adelaide LA4door 1974.My wife bought it in 1984 and gave it to me in the late 90s and ive played with it ever since.Has a lot of extras but looks mostly standard.The advantage in SA is no yearly rego check.

Cutting and glue to correct length is very easy also re cutting holes to line up with the old mounts.I have Torana rubbers on my LA 4 DOOR and they fitted fine.Took me about half an hour doing it carefully.

You can get most things done if you have the money.Engine can be adapted machined retro fitted, clutches, exhausts,suspension,fuel systems it just depends how far you want to go.Have a look at Hoonboy to see what is possible.

I had so many little problems when trying to fit and run an electric pump on a day use car that I spent the $72 and went back to a mechanical. It took 5 mins to fit and the car runs perfectly.Lesson learnt.

The only other thing is I had to file /grind the bracket where the exra hole was drilled so I could hold the nut to tighten it.I couldnt see any other way to do it but again it was only a minor problem.Yes I was very suprised it lined up so well.If your in Adelaide I got it from Nisswreck in Wingfie...
