Re: Timing chain tensioner

hey, when removing a 2.6 head you dont have to touch the tensioner, just make sure its set up on TDC and cable tie the cam sprocket to the chain. theres a little metal bracket that the cam sprocket sits on while yo remove the head :D

Re: GJ strut GC Coupe

hey be careful when selecting sigma struts for galants. there a two commo types, two bolt bottoms and three bolt bottoms. the two bolt bottoms(where the steering knuckle bolts on the bottom of the strut) WONT fit a galant. Get sigma 'green struts' as they are 3 bolt and will bolt straight up but hav...

Re: what efi set up is best

The TR and TS intakes are pretty much identical. It is the TN/TM/TP intakes that looks different to the TR/TS, and is smaller than the TR/TS. From what I have read on the forums, the TR/TS intake wont fit in the engine bay of something like the Galant cause of the engine bay being to narrow. I have...

hey. i have mucked around with spacers and wot not before. The safest 'spacer' i reckon are the bolt on jobbies that you can get for silvias i 4x 114.3 pcd. they are aluminium and use the original wheel studs to bolt the spacers onto the hub and have their own studs threaded in the aluminium. as for...

if it goes into the intake, its a vac portt line to the pump that alteres the fuel pressure in accordance to engine load. and aslo sounds like the car has had the return line removed.

Re: Did the astron 1 2.6 ever come with a mikuni from factory?

it may be a blocked fuel fitler, lol cant spell, faulty pump, which i reckon is most likely the cause. it wont be the jets mate as they are at the bottom of the fuel bowel. make sure your needle and seat is opperating correctly and float height
