please never run a engine without the balancer bolted on tight, it WILL throw off the timing belt and bend the valves, ive seen it happen.

you need to buy a dolley and a slapper, those dents will come up nearly with out using bog at all, as long as u can get up close enough by the door frame from the inside? i think this one needs lowering alot and a decent 2.6 with a megasquirt or similar

Re: Saturn 1600 engine help

i was taught that polishing inlet ports dosent let the fuel atomise and forms droplets instead of being a mist going into the cylinder.

Re: Removing head 4G32
i find it easier to remove the manifolds, that way when working on the head the carby isnt getting bashed around on the bench upside down. undo the head bolts from the outside to the inside, and inside to outside when torquing them up, make sure the head is machined. If you suspect its a valve probl...

Re: Removing head 4G32
its easy, take inlet and exhaust manifolds off, set engine up at TDC compression cylinder number one, slacken off timing belt tensioner and slip belt off! a chain drive manual wont be much good to you, you need one for a belt drive that shows all the timing marks.
