Re: TUFSIG, GK GSR 2.6 EFI Turbo
Looking great Luke, i was half expecting this to come up forsale after you brought the 3000 ;) Box that front corner in mate, it will make it much neater and hide that pod filter. I dont know if the cops are as hard on pod filters down there as they are here. But we cant get away with them if pulled...

Re: LSDs in reverse....
the DR30 LSD I had in my old Skyline locked both ways, so did the TRD 2-way in my mate's smallport AE71. So I'd assume that they're supposed to do it? Don't see how they'd not lock in reverse anyway :\ the "ways"actually refer to the amount of lsd-ing the centre'll do under acceleration/d...

Re: Nitrous on a 4G54
Ive never had anything to do with NOS
How do you set the set the timing for nos?
where would you set the timing for say 50hp shot, compaired to 100hp shot?
Do you use lots of advance compaired to standard running conditions?

Re: How much over standard piston can I go
Correct me if im wrong here folks.. Usually 60+ is the most off the shelf pistons goto. 40+ is fine. Are you boring out because you want larger capacity? Or rebuilding and bores are crook? Either way, you should get the block crack tested then get them to measure up your bores so they can recommend ...

Yeah sorry dean I agree with the other boys, I thought the other wheels made the car, especially when you look at the pics straight after Dave painted it etc, and it had stock rims on it.

Re: Mitsubishi Triton diffs
Just an update, the 89 Triton 2wd is the same diff as Sigma, but with 4.2:ratio. I still havent been able to look at a 4wd equivalent to compair the housing bolt pattern etc Let alone axle lengths, diameter, or spline ratio. Haha yes I would say that a 9" in a stock 2.6 is an over kill I would ...

Re: stock seats are not good (crep)
The Sigma seats will bolt onto your Lancer seat rails. But they sit abit too high, And I think I remember the shoulder was very close, if not touching the B pillar. But atleast they will be legal as they are a direct bolt in swap. Never looked at a set of Cordia seats, they would look pretty good, b...

Mitsubishi Triton diffs
Hey folks can anyone help me, '89 Mitsubishi triton with carb 4G54 rwd (or indeed the year models around that era) Do they use a Sigma/Scorp/L300 diff? Or are they using a rear diff the same as the 4wd? Might the 4wd LSD bolt straight into a 2wd rear diff housing? Taking into consideration housing b...

As the build progresses then I'll be able to 'lock it in Eddie' as parts become available. I've noticed this method seems to frustrate you Dan  I just get a chuckle every time I speak to you, because you have completely changed your mind on what car you want to build, and what you want to do...

So much potential there mate cant wait to see what you do with it! Much better starting point than that poor old brown sedan you had Just one thought direction, I like the green on your current Wagon, You could make a clone, but with afew subtle exterior changes, so it takes someone to know the car ...

Nah im all good,
im just saying its a big call,
for me those Autosalon tossers are all ridiculous body kits, 30" spinning chrome mags, Diamonte encrusted Sunvisors, and gear knobs with flashing lights in them.
A paint job doesnt come close to that.
