Re: GE Sigma
Hey Ricky, long time no see! I'm Fabio, the guy who bought the 1.6 beige Sigma from you and towed it all the way from Bendigo to Frankston (took us like 5 hours!!). I'm still playing around with Sigmas, I did loose my interest a little bit for a while as I got a better job and bought a Series 5 RX7 ...

Any updates? I'll be up for a cruise as soon as my GE Sigma SE is registered (club rego). Should be ready to go in a couple of months

The one year I miss the show, someone from here goes lol. I couldn't get my GE Sigma ready and registered in time, so looking forward to going in 2013! I'll be there in my golden GE Sigma SE.

Re: Ballarat Swapmeet pic's
I go to the yearly Ballarat (Great Southern) Swap meet every year, it's easy for me as I live in Ballarat. Every year there's always the odd Sigma NOS tail light, badges, etc. Not much but still worth going. If anyone wants to meet me at the next one, let me know ![happy :)](./images/smilies/msn_happy.gif)

Re: Problems with twin Solex carbies, keeps stalling
Well it's been a while, I haven't really had much time for the Sigma lately, with family commitments, kids birthday parties and all. I did find out though that the head gasket needs changing due to corrosion, so that will certainly help it work a bit smoother once changed. I've ordered the new head ...

Re: Sigma model identification
The rear photo of the GE is from one of my cars lol. Could you perhaps mention the difference from the GE Sigma Galant and GL grille (honeycomb, all black sometimes with chrome surrounds on the headlights) and the SE grille. Also mention that the GE and GH Sigma wagons have exactly the same rear. Al...

Re: Wideblock 5 spd in a GE
I converted my blue GE Sigma SE from 2.0 3spd auto (narrow block) to a norrow block 5spd manual and then to a 2.6 Astron II wide/big block with 5spd manual from a GN Sigma with a TS Magna roller rockers head. Because I already had the narrow block 5spd manual Jap box (originally from a 1.6 GE Sigma ...

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'll have a better look at the car this coming weekend. I had planned to work on the Sigma this past weekend but me my wife and kids all had gastro. I'll post a better photo of the carbies and engine too so you guys can have a better look. Thanks again.

Re: Problems with twin Solex carbies, keeps stalling
Thanks guys, BlueThunder you have a PM. And about the carbie clear level indicators, the carbies do have them and they show that the fuel level is just a tiny bit higher then the halfway mark, as it should be. Not sure if the carbies need syncing as the car does start and runs perfect for 15 seconds...

Problems with twin Solex carbies, keeps stalling
Hi guys. Here is my current build (I still got my original blue GE Sigma SE that I bought as my first car over 12 years ago, but that's getting way too rusty to fix up). The car is a 1978 Chrysler Sigma SE. I'm currently working on the finishing touches of fitting twin Solex carbies complete with ex...

Re: sigma rotary????
Colour-coding the mirrors are a simple but very nice mod, looks much nicer than the boring black ones. Made a huge difference to the look of my blue GE Sigma SE. I agree about the bumpers and the gauges, purple looks weird and chrome bumpers look out of place on a GH, I think. That would be like put...

I saw that on Ebay, looks like an almost identical twin of my car, except mine has factory leather seats and air-conditioning plus polished Sigma Turbo wheels and rare twin Solex carbies :) Here is mine: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-sR7pLIgUlUQ/T0AnmoHYQhI/AAAAAAAACK4/r8AEj4KwIcE/s400/IMG_20120218_1306...
