Ive just got back on to this forum after a long time of it, We have had the brown LB since new, and found another LB in SA . So now have two, the one from SA has only done 156,000 ks where as mine has done 570,000 , A bit of rust in the red one from SA but Iam slowly fixing it. I will get some photo...

well i took my colour and code to a panel beater and he said the colour of my red one is Californian Orange. 062. Its appears to be a Mitsubishi colour. only used in 1977. on the LB.

I have just purchased a red 77 lancer hatch. Iam trying to match paint. Under the bonnet it says Bright Orange. The numberis 002 or 062 not sure, its number is fadded some. the owners manual says Californian Orange. I have been told that it could be Spitfire Orange also. Ihave had a brown one since ...

Well Deb and I will be there at Yattla about 9am so we will see who ever turns up there then.we are comming down from the sunny coast.So (woops)if you want to meet at the shell servo north of the airport at about 8 am then we could travel to Yattla from there ... my mobile is 0421871937.. thanks

I have done a bit under the bonnet, just to tidy it up a bit . The front splitters are very hard to find ,I got my first one in 1983 of a guy after his girlfriend wrote of his lancer,I have a spare one thats had a hard life after it got smashed up by a wayward esky lid ,slowly putting it back togeth...

Hi , how did you go with the steering box,, I have trouble with my extractors ..To close to the box, it keeps buggering up the seal. I guess a heat shield would help

Hi Nick. Thanks for the reply. Didn't they all come with that gasket, and the leaking breather pipe to the air filter.

Dont know where you get that from,Dad inlaw and brother inlaw are both mechanics and always said they were good motors,brother inlaw now has a Galant VR4 turbo goes like the clappers

It was actually black on the inside also, not nice, he put in elecky windows too
