Keep the wagon as is! Its awesome.

Re: temp guage not working
Its under the thermostat. Unscrew it (might have to drain the radiator a bit)
Put it in some hot water and see what your gauge does

Re: temp guage not working
I'd say it's just the gauge.
Mine does weird things sometimes, swings all the way over to overheating when the car is still cold and then eventually moves back to normal.
Their not the most reliable gauges that's for sure

Re: temp guage not working
If it takes a fair while to get to normal temp, but does get there, I'd say it would be the thermostat not closing.
If it's not coming up at all I'd say its a fault with the gauge somewhere

Re: Phils GA Galant
Some news, had the car tuned. Massive problems with the carb, but all fixed now and running well. Uses alot more fuel now, more then I expected, but a 4 speed revving at 4-5grand on the highway to work doesn't help lol. I have another dilemma. You would definitely know Dave, I basically want to follow the path of your wagon. So what's next on the list for it? I still have some rims taking up some room? lol How's that weber going on it? How did you go getting through rego? Did it get straight through, or did you have complications because...

Re: Phils GA Galant
You would definitely know Dave, I basically want to follow the path of your wagon. I would love to go for power through a 4g63 or similar but I do like keeping the original theme, plus I couldn't commit to that kind of cash with it just yet. I love the saturns I think there a great little motor for ...

5 speed conversion in GA galant
Hey guys Im starting to look into doing this conversion and have found out it's a little harder in the GA's then other models. With modification required to the chassis rails for the wider x member. I'm after info and possibly photos of what has been done to achieve this. Any help appreciated. Cheer...
