Thanks Dave,....well did it's first real cruise today ...........and got so many positive comments,.....in a world of hot rods ,blown muscle cars and everything in between.......the stocko Galant still attracted attention......so ,it's a keeper,........gonna toss the jeep.......

Is there any difference between GB galant and LC(Ithink) Lancer hatch(square headlights)..diffs.......????,
just wondering?
Oh can L200 centres fit into Scorp diffs ..and do scorp diffs need to be narrowed to fit a GB......????

Yet another dumb question,.....my L200 (4g63) has been fitted with a thermo....when I was checking it out it appears there is no harmonic balancer ...I take it this is "normal"?...just seems odd as I am used to hemi6's and v8s........

Welcome bloke,.... I have an 82 Scorpion (same as Sapporo,/charger) ..they are a nice car ,......Mine is modded with a 318 (5.2) mopar engine for a fat ,overweight four cylinder they are o.k.,......don't forget you are dealing with 30 yr old technology....but hey ,....4wheel disc brakes are good ,.....

V-8 scorps are fun too

I thought CalTracs were mainly for drags?,stopping diff rotation?...haven't heard of them for track use???

Thanks,......ended up pulling discs off the stubs ,...and doing it that way , and using the "drum" brake lines ,....it's a neat fit ...(also the lancer 4 bolt tops were rusty as...........)...cheers

just wrecked and parted out a rusty as F&%$k LC hatch ... have discovered struts are four bolt ...my G.B. is 3 bolt ......can I just use the bottom bit to convert from drum to disc...??? anyone had this problem??? am not after Huuuuuuuuge brakes ....just want to get away from four wheel drum.......

O.k. , this may be a dumb question but am fairly new to modifying mitsi's I have a fairly schmick 2 owner GB (four wheel drums), am thinking of buying a good nick LC? lancer to upgrade engine and 5sp for the G-Banger..will the disks (strutts),diff etc. bolt into the GB? . Next question...if I strip ...
