Re: Idle issues GH
It's weird that it went from perfect to horrible overnight, and nobody touched it.. Had the main hose off the other day when it was running fine, but I don't remember what it did Try again, I guess.. Not looking forward to stuffing around with the brake system.. AGAIN!..

Re: My GH project
I'm interested too. How's it going? I bought a repair section for the front guard from Rare Spares, apparently they suit GE-GN :banh: took a day and half to get the shape right before we could even get the welder out, probably would've been easier to start with a flat sheet :hit: Good luck with it.....

Idle issues GH
Hi all, I have a GH with an AstronII and 5sp, I had to rebuild the master cylinder due to brake failure. We have the car back together and the brakes seem to be working fine, however, the first time I started it ran fine, idled normally. I put the battery on charge overnight, came out the next morni...

Re: Rear disc conversion for GH??
Thanks On the hunt for a GH Scorpion then.. Were discs an option on the GH Sigma? Or if I wanted to go that way, would I be hunting for a Turbo or Wherritt diff?? I would imagine it would be easier to find a GH Sigma diff compared to tracking down a Scorpion one??

Rear disc conversion for GH??
I'm wanting to upgrade from the drums on the rear of of my GH Sedan. I also have a GK Scorpion sitting in the yard. I have read C_Fernance's GH to GH diff swap, wondering how much extra work is involved in GK to GH?? Or if I can swap just the brakes over?? Also, can I get away with the standard boos...

We'll give it good check over and a test drive tomorroe to try and figure it out, thanks for the help.. The thrust race is the one that makes the noise when you put the clutch in while stopped?? if so, that needs fixing too lol I think I can vouch for that. I think by the look of it when I saw it, t...

Re: LC Lancer hatch. AKA "Larry"
I don't mind the look of the front bumper on your orange hatch, looks good actually. The one on ours is pretty rough. It's the back one I don't like, not sure if it looks weird, two different ones, although you can't see the front and the back of the car at the same time... I wouldn't have noticed t...

Re: Common problem?
I think it's in the diff, doesn't sound like brakes and gets louder the faster you drive it, there's whining/noise there most of the time, not very loud though, increases with speed, and it's not there whilst stopped in traffic. But there's a random noise that occurs as well (the one Steve described...

Re: LC Lancer hatch. AKA "Larry"
Ummm.. Hope so, not too sure though, will have to raid the shed. I don't think the big squared bumpers suit the shape of the car, stick out too far if you look at the car from the side, just my opinion though...

They're definitely vinyl.. Perfect for summer driving lol. We have a few factory seats, pretty knackered though :( What are you doing with the old black bumpers? If you want to get rid of them I'm interested. Dave... Both bars are pretty rough, dinged up and scratched, I think we're keepin the front...

Re: Our new project - Larry the LC
The front seats are very worn, pretty much flat and feels like you're sitting on cement.. I think they're just a wreckers job with the factory head rests on them.. The slides haven't been modified either???

Re: Our new project - Larry the LC
Marmong Point is where the guy works, I have seen it a few times in Newcastle though. Dad offered him that much months ago too and got knocked back, he kept talking about how much rego was on it. He couldn't get the idea that it was useless in NSW.. As far as rust goes, under the little side windows...
