Re: 4G63 N/A DOHC throttle body.

It will upset it because it uses that little chamber of coolant for close loop cold start idle up. with out it the ecu is unsure of engine temprature therefore always thinking its
cold and will possibly run rich and idle high.

I wouldnt bother fitting the r33 turbo they have a ceramic compressor wheel anything over 13 psi for a decent amount of time the compressor wheel explodes!!!

Re: The imported jap-spec GJ GSR 1984 (MOVED BACK!)

Fuel, powersteering fluid leak or wiring!! i'd tend to say power steer it sits right in front of the exhaust small leak big fire!!! ive rewired many cars at work after powersteer leaks and fires it lights up REAL quick!!! and it looks like there was abit more heat on the passenger side!!!

Re: No power and loud vibration/rattle

if your flooring it and it has a hesitation it could be a problem with the accelator pump in the carbie
and as for the rattle, hydraulic tensioner? could have low oil pressure at idle hence why it cleans up at revs
also the hard starting, as dave said check plugs, leads and the auto choke.
