I generally us the carter pumps in a street car as they are nice and quiet and holley's in the race cars for lift pumps. 044 shouldn't be that noisey make sure you have the rubber insulation fitted around it in the clamp. 195kw and 4.44 diffs make them quick off the line, but they start to run out of puff at about 120kph. I have seen consistant 195kph trap speeds on a standing 1000m sprint.

A lot of other forums/car clubs use Macca's at McGrath's hill as a start point for a lot of there cruises, rather than Penrith. It cuts out the dickhead factor and its doesn't get a lot of attention from the boys in blue. It also gives you good access to the mountains, wisemans, putty road, etc......
