Re: 3D's Galant

Re: 3D's Galant
That's great stuff, Fibri!
I tried using 3Ds Max several years ago but i found it quite complicated to use. Only in the last 2 weeks, i have started using Sketchup (it's free).
I'm currently trying to learn how to model a car. I've worked out how to do wheels, but the body is proving to be more challenging!
Globe Montego rims with 195/55r15 tyres.

Re: 3D's Galant
Bro szett, show us your 3d work here, I know you are an expert, hahah
Re: 3D's Galant
Woww very detail sigma wheel's work, agree with you, sketchup is more simple than 3d's max, but we can get more realistic finishing in 3d's max, so we can saving more time by combining them. Making model with these programs is very challenging and enjoyable, feels like playing grand tourismo hahah
Re: 3D's Galant
Downloading Sketchup now. Looking forward to having a play with it
Re: 3D's Galant
That's awesome, Fibri. I especially like that last pic.
One thing i have noticed though, is that your blueprints are not quite right correct -i think the roof may be too high by about 3cm?
I am trying to 3D model an earlier model sigma (1978 sigma/galant wagon) but have found that all the sigma blueprints i can find on the internet have problems (not to scale, mistakes etc)!

Re: 3D's Galant
Thanx for your notice bro ddt, I'll fix it.
Actualy, blueprint is not accurate , in one model I found some difference between the front view , side view and other view, can not be used as a benchmark.
but the blueprint really helps us to get started. When you have finished making your 3d, please share here.

Re: 3D's Galant
I tried it, turns out I am too impatient and got the shits with it
Re: 3D's Galant
You've updated the windscreen
Its taking me some time to do mine.I have done bonnet and fender only. It will be some time before I post it up here, I think.

Re: 3D's Galant
Great work fibri, it shows you have patience and the eye for detail to make your images work. Only thing I'd add is a driver silhouette on the action/motion shots on the last few pics.
