Battery Relocations

So im gunna move the battery to the boot in my GC and was wondering if someone could draw a up a diagram or put one together quickly with some pretty pictures and stuff hahah had a look online at a few they sorta confused me a little as they seemed more designed for newer cars

Like 7metres of 4GA
isolation switch 100amp
120amp safety switch

Things still gotta get

FInding a battery Box to fit my battery

Distrabution block for engine bay things

I haven't done this, but it should be a relatively straight forward task. Essentially, you need "big" cables running to the starter motor, earth (on the engine), and medium cables to the coil and alternator, and it's really a matter of connecting it like an extension lead :) I'm sure others on here have done it though, so hopefully they'll be more help! 0ga cable
0ga crimp ring terminals x4
+ - forged brass battery terminals
supercheap battery box
Isolation key
GH Sigma, 16" Mesh wheels, sports steering wheel and a V8 exhaust

i was thinking same thing bout fucking edit button and do you reckon id need 0ga or will 4 do ?

easy. put battery in boot, run earth to body in boot, posative cable running to stater motor terminal, and main power feed wire from battery terminal to starter aswell.

At least 2ga for the Positive. You have to compensate for voltage drop across the distance from the trunk back to the front. Negative can be 4 gauge from terminal to ground point on body, then be sure to have a ground for the engine to chassis.
