Short shifter

Post by A112H »

Okay, so I have a short housing narrow block 5 speed and the gearstick is sloppy and rubbish.
I have questions for you lot.
In no particular order;
Can you get rebuild kits to fix the stock shifter?
Will the short shifters on ebay for a Conquest/Starion fit my box?
Do you have one for sale as I can't find one on ebay at the moment, lol?

The Mookeeh short shifter doesn't fit the short extension housing gearbox.

I have 2 of them so this is definite....

However, another one of my "Projects" will be to modify the short extension housing cover to suit that shifter, so they will fit in my GH Scorpions... :D

Cheers.

there is a guy on here that has put in a build thread (a GK sedan from memory) and successfully out in a short shifter in hus car........i can't rememer if it was long/short housing or narrow/wide block...........i'm sure he has the information there

But just as a side thought.....what about the late 80's/early 90's falcons and commodores????? they'd have short shifters available for sure
