Trigger wheels???
Trigger wheels???
Whats the difference between trigger wheels?
Like why would you choose a 35-1 over a 36-1?
Do they suit different systems or are the per cylinder setup or maybe engine maker?

Re: Trigger wheels???
It depends more on your ECU than the amount of cylinders.
The 36 -1 is the standard for the Ford EDIS wasted spark system. It's cheap, it works well and most aftermarket ECU's are able to interface with it.
Cheers.

Cool, I am buying the Microtech MT4 from r20bear. Will a 36-1 suit this?

Re: Trigger wheels???
just tell John what you have and he'll build the ecu to suit
ah just noticed your getting a used ecu, they can be reconfigured

actually the Mt4 is a fuel only comp so no it wont run the crank trigger

Re: Trigger wheels???
sorry Jason i did edit my post before but the MT4 is a fuel only ecu and wont run a crank trigger, you can get an lt10s ignition only comp that will do crank trigger but its $900
Imo you would be better off saving your pennies to have an ECU built to suit your needs

Cool, I have paid a deposit on the MT4 and made a promise so will give it a go.
I think I should be okay with fuel only, for now
Will the MT4 run the quads I intend to run?
