flipping a vr4 exhaust manifold????

I'm doing a vr4 4g63 conversion in a ga galant. due to steering box/turbo interference with standard ex manifold...I was thinking of making an adapter to flip manifold, to make it top mount turbo setup, easier than making a complete new manifold ?? Has any one done this sort of thing??

i can make it already have a 10mm steel exhaust flange ...I'll make another with threaded holes for studs.. with 4 bits of steampipe about 50mm long, joining both..

i cant remember exactly how mine was done as i didnt build the engine. but when car is back from mechanic i will put up some detailed pics if you want them if they would help.
