i broke my tail shaft recently and was wondering if it was possible that its because the diff seized up or someting?

dropped the clutch to do a skid

possible.....the main thing that kills tailshafts is torque (more specifically, the sudden impact of torque appliation)

good to hear because the bloke i bought it off said it has heaps of torque.
hoping when i fit the tailshaft i can drive it away.

the bloke i bought it off was on this forum and i have been trying to find
a thread about it in here, trying to find out more about the car

when i jack it up am i meant to hae the back or front higher so the oil doesnt come out?
