Yea. i reakon colour matching would be a hit. yellow pstar for a yemllow car etc. but still white writing. i made a custom parcel tray for my old gc. had the speakers on a 25° angle and had a green pentastar with "galant" done in the chrysler script font. white backround with green font and star. all done with 20mm underlay and leather. or i was going to make the same but clear inserts and green led lights. but theres an idea for ya :)

Oh yeah the pentastar would be even lol

That was just a quick drawing on the paint program on the computer.....so i could actually see what it would look like with my own eyes....not just as an imagination vision (like the Mitsubishi one i did)

Colour matching would be piss easy......just a simple matter of showing me what your you want, and i go and buy the fabric.......the textiles store holds all the stock i need for me :D

Hey, looks like you're nailing it but for anyone else reading who needs a hand to get their pentastar right I've done up an illustration of the angles needed.

Image

Just use a set square set to these angles and you'll be laughing. Red and yellow are angles off horizontal and vertical obviously, flip the set square over once set to get the other sides, and the 'x' measurement is the length of each side, so it's easiest to start from the base.

Easier than doing all the 360 divided by 5 = 72 then the number of rotation minus 180 and all that crap!

pretty good mate, i just use a full 360 drawing circle and do the math. (360 divided by 5) then mark in out from there.
