Carpet for GB...

Post by davenq »

Hi ,I just received my new carpet for the GB its looking more like a GC/GD one , it was from a company that lists separate GA/GB and GC/GD ,

the reason I am asking is it appears the old GB had half carpet ,half vynal (ie each footwell is vynal.)Anyone else still have the original carpet in there GB????
cheers Dave

Which company did you get your carpet from. There are a few little differences in the floor pans of ga/gb to gc/gd, but nothing major. Most carpet replacements will be two piece carpet with heel plate on drivers side only. Remember to let the carpet rest in the floor pan before thinking about trimming. I have left it for two weeks in the past. If you are still not happy then a hair drier on mediumish heat will allow you to mould it closer to your car..

Cheers
