Came with both
I am not a fan of the GA front but as part of the deal with Ben I sold all the unwanted spares to GB_BB4C so he has a truck load now to get his second A53H on the road

The twin headlight setup is period-correct for a 16L (A53). Jason's car just needs the correct 16L grille (rather than the GB one which has been put into it at some stage)

Even the AII (A52) Galants had a "facelift" to twin headlights from around August 1971 in Japan ... only the early AI/AII cars had the single square headlights.

Trial patch of paint tonight, just because I was bored really, and I fitted the 14's I scored today.

Pretty sure this will be the final colour or dam close anyway, this is the desired end goal.
Shitty pic but the only one I could find in the right colour :P

Me two, but it is for a GA style. Mine has the same cloth interior as A53C GTO, vinyl bolsters with cloth inserts. Can't find a pic now and gotta jet :)

Got some more badges from Affa, thanks again mate.
The Galant is for the boot lid and a new grill centre emblem. The 5 speed badge is for the A112H, it is from a GTO.

Yeah, I think I will be painting this one. This will be bare metal full stripped job so not sure if I am up to that or not yet.
Guess I will see what it looks like after soda blasting it.

Well, sadly, with the purchase of the GTO funds are pretty tight at the moment and I have really had to face up to the fact that I will never get through all these projects.
Even if I do, the insurance and registration costs of 7 cars would be too much to keep up.

So, this car has been sold, pending payment, to someone who is very passionate about these cars and I am sure will restore it to it's original glory.

I know he will let you know when he has possession and his plans organised.

Nah, it is a shame but the GTO is what I have always wanted so I guess I will be cool with it.
Sad but maybe for the greater good :P

Don't worry people, it isn't me. 2x A53's is enough for me, don't need a 3rd.

Sweet GA seats front and rear but sadly the buckets don't flip forward so the hunt begins for genuine A53H GS seats. I have the factory rear (need re upholstering badly) but need the buckets.

Hey mate sorry to here about the loss but did those seats happen come out of a white GA? Just interested because that interior looks a lot like one i owened a few years back.
Im also located in adelaide, cheers

Cheers 71GA, no idea about the seats mate, they were in it when I got it. The buckets can be made to flip pretty easily but I had planned on fitting stock seats anyway. I am pretty sure the new owner is going 100%-ish factory spec with it, so he will be on the look out soon I am sure.
