Uh, if DVS is a girl, I think this one must be a boy? ... Or DVS swings both ways, perhaps?
This one is yet un-named... don't usually name my cars until there is an attachment...

My lovely Wife say's the same, all of our cars have had names but you can't name them until you know them.
So far we have had;
1994 MX6 Mazda - Penelope - Just suited her
1986 XF Falcon - Peter - As in Peter Falconio, kinda sick, kinda funny.
1984 L200 Mitsubishi - Ishy
1989 Mazda 929 - Bear - He was a big brown bear, lol
2000 VR4 Galant - Cassius - Because he was black and packed a punch :)
2001 MX5 - Mr Fox
1996 Ford Raider - Canyonero
1997 TE Magna - Magnus
2005 Citroen C4 - Plastic - As in french band Plastic Bertrand and C4 plastic explosive :)

The GC Hardtop doesn't have a name as yet, I guess he is not yet completed so hasn't revieled himself and therefore can not be named.

Ditto the GD...
The right name will pop up at the right time... In the mean time, it's just "The Yellow Galant", or "The GD" for me...
I do call it "The Gal", too... but that's not a name lol... =P

Those wheels look gnarly on Dave's wagon all cleaned up!
Though, I think there's several hours polishing and a pair of blistered thumbs between yours and his, however. :P

Yep, I think they suit the GC/D shape well.
They are Cheviot Hustlers if you didn't know. They will most likely be 13x6's, and they were released in 1975 from what I can find out about them.
I have 2 sets. 1 set the same as what you have here (that I'm restoring atm) and the set on my wagon that have a different centre.
IMO, 205 60 13's are the right size tyre for them. They will just rub on full lock on the fire wall (but that can be adjusted out).

Here's the set I'm restoring (before pics)

Here's the ones of my wagon

Noice :)

These need a scrub, probs re-paint... thinking will keep the colours (black and silver) the same on them... if I'm doing the sports stripe on car, should look better... and yellow and black work well together methinks...

They originally were painted a dark metallic charcoal and of course with polished outer lips.
I saw an original brochure for them on ebay a while back. It was dated February 1975.

Like tango76hardtop said, the metal backing of the dash is removable. If you reach up under the dash you will find 5 (I think) 10mm nuts holding it on, once removed you can push it up from below and remove it with the rest of the dash intact.
I did mine red :)
