Got quite a few things fixed lately also more things underway to come very soon:

New Booster (old had broken a nut and was leaking) - so painted this up and cleaned the container to make it look new like the rest of the bay.
Image

New Clutch Cable (thanks to mick) - old one had been burn't by the exhaust and was a bit worn, so wrapped this one.
Image

Also Carbies have had alot of work, and minor things fixed on the car, such as the interior... interior is now complete, ill upload photos later, still finishing my sound and re-doing wiring on the inside of the car.

Carbies aren't running on secondaries at present, going back in for the next few days to get the car running as the vacuum isnt opening the diaphram... suspect block or new diaphram? Will also be getting DYNO tuned again, car made 80hp last time without secondaries running and not finely tuned.

Heres the video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWEnDQksxbE

Also putting in new welsh plugs in tmoz as there leaking haha.. common problem with these engines.

What else is to come:
Rust repair, body work... such as rear end bang..
Going to do boot install, just lay down some wood carpet it and treat the inside of the boot...
Wiring inside the car along with sound and stuff.

Also need to fix rev guage yet, fuel level is a bit out, gotta check the float again or try another :@ also temp gauge...

will update this post a bit more possibly aha

Looking good  should come along pretty well soon enough.

With that dyno run, what was done to it at that point in time? just curious as its rare to see a dyno run in that range so grabs my interest.
(not meaning that in a mean way, just saying compared to the usual 2.6 turbo EFI we always see around here lol).

Engine is as follows:

Astron 1 4g54

Scorpion Bottom end
Sigma Head (?)
Cam - as im aware is not standard
Flat top Pistons
Elec fuel instead of mechnical
Twin Solex carbs, forget jet size.. still might need bigger later on.
Pacemaker Extractors with 2.5 inch exhaust all the way through.

and if your talking about what was done to the engine for it to be on the dyno, we were tuning the carbs and were finding out why secondaries werent operating like they should.

You'd think that you'd be getting more than 134psi compression with flat tops and an Astron 1 head, you sure everything's alright internally?

Your mum's camera is dodgy - colours are all over the shop and the focus is almost as bad as 75wagon's efforts! lol Pic isn't doing your car justice, but lucky your ride didn't suffer the same fate as SIKMA's. Nice to know you're driving it round now...

secondaries wern't hooked up properly diaphram was being held open hence the accelerator cable seeming tight under acceleration.

installed some speakers in the car, fusion, got the audio setup hooked up and running properly now, with amp and stuff in the boot which im yet to clean up... next job...

got sick of looking at holes in the door so went out and finally got the speakers to fill them:

up close with mdf carpeted mount:

rear setup:

interior:

interior is now complete pretty much minus a few things not working in the dash properly

- rev gauge
- fuel gauge works but isnt 100%
- door light stays on
- fuel light stays on
- temp doesnt work

and current engine pic:
Image

cars going back in to have the vacuum inspected and get it working 100%

also started my boot insert will post pics when done, also rust is getting cut shortly along with rear end damage sorted out
