Want some inspiration?

Look at this pic.
Image

Just looking at that pic would be enough inspiration for me to get stuck into it. I've never been a fan on the LB Lancer sedans, but these wheels make the car. I remember seeing this pic when you first joined, and thought 'Wow, they can look good'.
What size are they?
They are Simmons F90's or something aren't they?

Where abouts are you located? Anywhere near Sydney?

You have to get this finished and come on a cruise. I'd love to see it

plans would be to try get it back upto granny spec, 4 now working from
the front of the car to the back
and as you can see not much rust ,been using other ppls pic,s
as a reference where rust starts pretty common in these cars
just needs new front suspension n springs , standard muffler system ,
and fresh coat of paint
other then that ,,,, feel free to add advice or comments
thax

Is that the yellow that the car was originally or a different one?
It's a shame that it doesn't match up better with the old colour :(

G'day mate
narh cbf trying to match up the original color but ill come close
if you want original color just look inside the boot lol ,
the whole outside of the car was resprayed with a shitty yellow
which has faded over the years and rubs off on your hands ,
i am also using a lighter yellow for the outside of the car ,
i went a warmer color 4 the engine bay :)

its been awhile since a update,
since my last one not much else has been done to the lancer after fixing the welsh plug no more leaks so thats plus side
on top of all the things i have to do , i thought id take the dash out , not good idea , thinking the speedo was faulty after
not checking the speedo cabel correctly first time around left with the hassel of putting it back in which is nightmare since i have
to remove the steering wheel and so forth .......
plus side got to replace some bolbs . hopfuly after this i will try and get back on track with rust repairs on the boot lip seal

ontop of this i have tj magna on the way as a daily
already knw that it need a good oil change plus flush and possable new oil pump .
ontop of a few other little things fun continues
http://youtu.be/NP8fBp_cf8c
from my reseach the sounds of bad oil flow in the lifters
i am hoping .....

Image
good as new still

Image
such a mess :(

next venture is going to clark rubber hopfully getting replacement window seals at a mint ......
