I'll be doing that but taking off the trumpets and fitting them behind em. Then I might see if I can find a very light density filter/foam and sit it in the trumpets. So I get the trumpet look with the filtration :)

I like that idea geezer :) I had a quick look again last night and found you can buy them. They call them a gauze filter that just sits over the trumpet like a cap. I'll just make some like u said tho. It will be a lot cheaper

Haha!! Nah not really :) I know she's in good hands.

It's good to see exactly what will be under the paint though :) fair few little dents in her :\ some I didn't even know where there!

Fixed my withdrawal symptoms though! :P

Fair enough, may have to come on one of these trips to see her, might hit up old mate about getting some paint work done myself if he is keen, sadly the GD will need TLC on the bodywork shortly :(

Yea he would do it :) $1200 doors closed (you drive it there. He will do what's needed. Like removal of trim, lights, bumpers etc. prep and paint, assemble and you drive it away). Or $1600 for a full respray. All of this is him supplying the paint, materials etc. all you need is your car :)

Engine bay is still getting black bits yet... X member, front side of the rad support, steering/suspension bits, engine mount base. Strut top centres (the outer edge will stay yellow, just the very top will go black).

All being blocked back today, then I gotta so another inspection to make sure I'm happy with it. :) then she's going yellow!!! :D it's a mix between dandelion yellow (evo 9 MR), and devil yellow (Holden VE commodore).

Just ordered my carpet from Knox :)

Getting them to leave everything up front (not trimmed "to fit"). Just overlock the end so I know I'll have enough (thanks for the info on that guys :) ).

Ended up delayed with the booth :( my fault though... Asked for more work to be done as I'm pretty picky. But that's all done now, and she should be going in on Monday :)

I've got yet another package today :)

Black plush pile with the extra left up front. With 2 rolls of under felt to go with :) all from Knox auto carpets. It all looks like it will be good. Though time will tell :)
