Na, I like 'em, but I'm into Hustler.

I mean the wheels, not the magazine.
I'm sticking with my 2 sets of 13x6 Cheviot Hustlers for now. I really should measure the offset of them.

15x9's are huge. What are you doing with the guards Kirk?

I'm going to get them flared once it's on the road, I hope I can keep the chrome strip on the wheel arch aswell (if not ill keep them as is)

I really like them to they look so good with the offset and the stretched tyres. one of my mates said iDorothy looks like a beast compared to Dorothy. (it's true if you consider all the other stuff that's going in)

thanks,
kirk

The rear guards on a sedan have more room then a wagon. The Hustlers have more room under the guards of the GD sedan then they do on the wagon by at least 15 to 20mm.

turns out the rims are only 8 inches wide :P

I just put the rear end together (bumper, boot, badges) I also got my brake lines & radiator hose today, then I realized that I needed a longer fan belt so the hose will fit. anyone else done the sigma radiator swap? do you need to to anything to the fan? looks like its going to touch the hose

thanks,
kirk

hey guys and girls,

sorry I haven't updated in a while, this is where I am atm, the motor it out, the gearbox seals have been replaced all round, got new brake & fuel lines, got some coolflex radiator hoses, thinking of ordering a thermo fan and I've polished up most of the valve cover (thinking of anodizing it)

tomorrow colta51 and I should get the clutch and 5speed installed, maybe the carbs aswell.

all the linkages are done and connected, and things are plugged up where they should be :D turned the key and the starter kicked the motor over a couple times but i never got it to fire.

i then found 2 wires left behind  ones connected now, ill do the other one in the morning when i come back from u-pull it. now i guess i just need to narrow down all the possibilities of it not starting till it starts.

monday or tuesday im planning to install the thermo fan and all those fancy electronicobobs

i should be getting some new window seals sometime next week, then the windows can go back in, and the thing can finaly go on the road!! then i might just send it off to a car painter late next week (i really hope so!) and hopefully they can spray it and get it ready for the cruise.

im still dealing with the retarded insurance company, as they are taking there sweet time with paying me out for my car. GRRRR! GRRRRRRRR!!

thanks,
kirk

Kirk those rims look awesome!
And especially with the low pro tyres!
I am thinking of going back to 15s myself.

hey guys and girls

the other day I was about to fit my gearbox cross member, I climbed under the car with the cross member in hand, and low and behold it didn't fit!

I picked up a sigma cross member today, its obviously to short, so I was thinking of merging the 2 cross members together with some big thick washers. before I go ahead, what did you guys do to fix this problem?

thanks,
kirk
