still waiting for the snout to be machined, starting to give me the shits but the shop has heaps of work on and they're down a man plus they're bloody good

you could make it fit under the bonnet easily, i just wanted it to stick out

OK refresh time

pre molested state

Image

looking like sheeeit, but much straighter than when i got it
it had heaps of highs/lows and took a few layers of hi fill to get it right

Image

hi fill done, painted the sides white and rubbed back with 800

Image

masked up and first 2 coats of holden silver/grey metallic are down

Image

4 colour and 3 clear down, still need to be colour sanded then i can clear the entire car

Image

colour close up, its not that bad

I've got a set here I'm polishing. It's not fun.
But I've gone maybe too far. I've stripped the paint off them and bead blasted the painted areas to clean them up. I've polished one so far. When they are done I'm painting the stripes and holes yellow, to go with the car they are off. I won't be painting the centres though. Don't think they'd look any good yellow.
