I vote for the turbo rims, those on the rear look cheap and nasty, almost look like a Supercheap's set of $20 hubcaps

turbo rims are shit no matter what is done with them, to small to fussy and remind me of a shower head and are just plain old

nothing wrong with the quality of the rear rims and they weren't cheap i bought them new 10 years ago lol, though they look crappy in that colour but will look totally different once given the treatment

cant help that supercheap copied them and i like my hubcaps

I think the turbo rims are overated, but they do look good on the right car.
eg: on this one...
http://i49.tinypic.com/2n1cl7s.jpg

I think the rims on the back of your car would look better after changing the colour. But how would you do it?
May I suggest painting the centre caps the same grey as on the bottom of your car?
But these rims because they are more modern, would require you to lower your car to improve their look.
Generally, I think modern rims need to be of larger diameter, and the car to be lowered further, then you would having older style wheels, for them to look any good. Just my opinion...

Yeah the rear rims will have painted spokes and center caps, maybe black or the gray and the lip is being polished

...much better :) . don't know how this will sit with some? but yeah, the turbo rims don't really seem to work on that colour

so whats left to do under the bonnet?

Looking real neat though. love it.

Im still not totally happy with the wheels but i'll sort em out, and i think you hit the nail on the head with the turbo rim prob, never passed my mind that its the colour combo until you mentioned it, because i like the way they look on my turbo

ok well most of you already know that i intend fitting a 302 cleveland in the G spec now so the supercharged astron idea has been given the flick

I spoke to my engineer about the 302 idea and he's given me the thumbs up and a small list of things to do like put vented discs on the front, fit stiffer front springs/shocks

so i done the vented disc conversion yesterday, need to figure out what commodore strut inserts fit the gh tubes and then work out my front springs

will also need to convert the rear pcd to 5 stud so i can fit the simmons that i had sitting around

funny how they just happen to be the same colour

or we could do something a little weird lol
