still needs to be engineered, you'll get a ride soon enough

have given it a bit of a tune and taken it for a drive, drives really nice hey can turn the tyres into smoke with ease and stops well feels pretty god on the road

its acceleration makes my turbo sigma feel like its an NA 2.0 towing a loaded car trailer lol

Vid of 2nd start still not timed and carb is out a little but its sorted now

Running a little bit behind but I'm nearly there, engineers are a pita too casual and laid back

Have put a rego spec carb on it but just like the holley it too wont fit under the bonnet so i have had to fit a A9X Torana style reverse cowl scoop (just sitting there for now)

still waiting for the other simmons to come back from Retro Wheels

meh i dunno tho it need to be there so i guess i'll just have to put up with it

Is it just the air-cleaner assembly that the bonnet fouls against? It looks pretty close to closing..
Personally, I'd prefer no scoop but it may look good if painted the same col as the bonnet?
You've done such a great job on that sig- can't wait to see her all finished!

Yeah just the air cleaner but seeing as its part of the engines emissions equipment it needs to be there, once its passed and rego'd i'll be fitting a high rise manifold and a holley carb so it will still poke through the bonnet

Scoop looks cool from the drivers seat though

Well shes all passed :D :D :D

Engineer was very happy with the way it was built, was a little worried at first because the original engineer that i started with has been very sick and was unable to sign it off and the second engineer had never seen the car until today

So its been engineered for an engine / trans conversion, larger wheels and tyres, suspension, brakes, diff swap and bonnet scoop and a few other small things

just need to get a blue slip and rego

Great to see it all worked out, shame about the bonnet scoop though. I love the wheels and don't mind the two tone paint. Can't wait to see some numbers, wish I could be at the first set of lights you smash the first VN SS with chev badges, lol
Maybe you need Ford badges
