haven't done an update for awhile.
as the GSR has been garaged for months only
taken out a few times, for short drives.

mainly because of my bad luck with my mitsis lately
(cordia defection, and write off of my gh)
took it out tonite get some fuel.
on way back hit a kangaroo at 100kmh, maybe bit less
cos locked up brakes just before clipped it. another on coming car
wouldve seen me nearly lose it. and serve into the lane, but kept on driving 8o|
Don't know whats worse my last mitsi is fukd or the fact i killed a kangaroo
being vegetarian and all. As if don't feel sick enuff in the stomach that my cars rooted,
but having bits of dead animal on it too. makes me wanna vomit.

Guess i was right shit happens in 3
there were 3 lil mitsis in row.
now none :( fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuk
pics soon

yeah probably fixable, but money i didnt need to spend aye. oh well sheet happens
think just leave it in shed for a bit
i got most parts i need from spare gsr i guess. although every panel on its rusty.
but may do for now, till i find some betters ones. u still got cordia shell? is the chasis fair found some structural damage on it
they missed at the inspection. so that shell is rooted condition?

on the plus side went back there this morning on way to work and found my front number plate that went flying when bumper came off.
still mint condition :).

So this is the Damage from the kangaroo the other night, passenger side:
Image
Image
so pissed me off at the time, specially now that 3 mitsi's fuked.
But today took front of to inspect the damage closer.
Took grills off
Image
then the headlights, side indicators etc
Image
Image
Front bumper off
Image
not to much damage underneath, so far, didnt get chance to take folded side gaurd off yet.
Image
and when hard lock to left or right tyre rubs on gaurd so have to replace it :(
should be able to fix it with the spares i got, apart from the gaurd got another half straight one
rusty as though, but may have to do until i get a decent one. thank god didnt hit in the middle
and fuk my moded 3 core $500 radiator.

The damage doesn't look too bad?
Is the guard beyond fixing?
In the past I have fixed a rope to the front on the car where the impact was (depends on the actual hit sometimes) and tied the other end to a tree and put it in reverse and gently pull it back out. You need someone else to be where the damage is with a straight edge to tell you when to stop though.
It might be worth a try if you can find somewhere to pull it from? Maybe even try a using a pair if vice grips to pull the front of the guard? (maybe?)

depends how hard to find another mint one same color.
the front out of whack and paint has come of where you'll see it, and has folded in the middle from impact
but will give it try, thanks for the tips.

Looks to be mainly all panel damage, which is lucky. Not so bad after all. Could have been alot worse.

My GK looks like yours at the moment, minus the damage.... but all pulled apart. Giving it a quick tidy for a car show its going in and just a quick tidy in general.

took poor sig for a drive yesterday, been in shed since accident,
but been starting it up and running it ev weekend
cos last time i filled it up just before accident, put injector cleaner in it.
prob not good to have that in the system for long time.

prob not best idea driving it round with no front end lmfao.
but now i have lots of lady flys in my radiator :(
but i gotta take passenger guard to ev time turn right guard slashes my tyre :(

so pulled the guard of for a squizz under that for damage,
and cos the guard keeps scraping/slashing my tyre when i turn.
Image
Image
and like most sigmas ive had had 1kg of dirt stuck in the drain holes (only half of it in pic, other half fell on ground when took it off), rust hazard
so when get chance will clean out the one on other side 2.

underneath was no damage i can see
Image
apart from around behind headlight etc, hopefully i can straighten out myself
Image

then guess just play waiting game to find passenger gaurd and front end panels to match.
since been quoted $300 to spray just a gaurd to match. pffffft.

and whacked another bolt in the bonnet, was missing one, guess thats why was lifting slighty when i was drivin lol
don't know where it went prob from my stupid cam or the crash i have no idea

Good news, found few parts for my panel reapir for GSR front end.
found half decent GN
got front bumper plastic cover with mint red stripe
some mint headlights (silver not flaking off inside, and seals look good so hopefully won't fog up)
Some extra mint side indicators (very orange like new, not faded)
and some front bumper indicators (also dark shade of orange)
front guard plastic centre bits with red stripe and one at back end too.

wish couldv'e gotten more to get back on the road
but this was a silver one :(
pretty mint for the wreckers though.
