So here is the jig I made to weld up the pipes , just to make life easier
Image

That side for bolting the flanges up to weld

This side is to make the "transition" from oval to round
Image

Note the machined lip to get the shape perfect
Image

The transition piece made out of 4 pieces and welded into shape
Image

And in the jig
Image

So thats a start , gotta make 6 nice looking transition piece's that ones a bit rough
And start on trying to hide pipes on the drivers side

I know I don't comment much of late, but I just want you to know that I get on here just about everyday, and have been watching your progress.
It's good to see you making progress with this, and almost motivates me to get back into mine.

Great work so far.

yeah you should be able to get close to 60-40 with weight disatrubution. you still need to fill a tank of fuel and can always move the battery to the boot. I say keep the pics coming.

So I have a major issue
The brake booster doesn't fit it hits the engine !, and legally I need a booster for rego
So now to decide what to do with it
Either remote booster or relocate the pedal assembly ?

Whats your opinion

The pedal box does need some mods to accommodate the hyd clutch set up , but for the factory booster to fit I need to relocate the pedal set/ booster around 12mm outboard , had a good look at it and it wont be that bigger job just fiddly and I have to mount a new master cylinder anyway for the big brakes and all new lines
Just another hurdle to overcome , no stress
Its all part of the fun !

152mm at its largest diameter
Heres a happy snap of the offending item , its actually quite small

What are you thinking amgis obrut ?
Im open to just about anything
If it was up to me I would not use a booster at all and Id just use a tilton pedal set mount it all inboard , but no way thats road legall

I was thinking smaller booster but 152mm is pretty hard to beat, moving it outwards is probably the best bet those remote boosters are pretty ordinary

Can the booster go inside, or not enough room between the pedal and firewall ?

Scorpma thers no way a bigger booster will fit and remote mount ones are shit
Amgis -No way to go inside , no room at all
And not allowed for rego
I can move it over just more stuffing around

I will definitely look into this , as I was told under nocp NO , I love to know why thay deem this unsafe
This is what sucks about modding road cars in this country, no hard rules
I was hoping that nocp was going to be a better system , oh well

Thing is some vans have the entire booster and master cyl under the dash, I understand the problems with an MC in the cab (liquid leaks) but a booster is harmless

would be good if you had room for something like this
