Re: little hulk
Are you absolutely sure that you need a booster to be legal?
Mine hasn't got one (for the same space restrictions) and the Engineer had no problem with it at all.
Was registered in Vic and simply changed over now into QLD reg.
I'm used to it now so you just push the pedal harder

Re: little hulk
Yup , if it had one factory it has to have one , anything 1976 onwards
Unless you do the ADR test to have it certified
All you need is one cop to actually know what there talking about and your defected
But I wouldn't worry about them its QLD transport utes cruising around , those guys do know all the rules and will do you in a heartbeat

Re: little hulk
The Engineer did all the brake testing required. x number of .5g stops etc.... without fade all logged with a computer.
So hopefully no problem
So hopefully no problem
Re: little hulk
So I got the x member powder coated over the weekend
So that got me motivated
And that gets the length or pipe to what the computer recommended at 680mm
Now 5 more pipe and then collectors , to easy

Re: little hulk
I gotta disagree, I know off 2 cars 3 if you include the one we stripped that have or were a factory 6g73
Either way all I need is a gasket kits
It shouldn't be that hard ,

Re: little hulk
Yes looking into the gaskets it seems the 6g73 was only available in naturally aspirated form, the only TT 6g7x series engine I can find is the 6g72
GH Sigma, 16" Mesh wheels, sports steering wheel and a V8 exhaust
Re: little hulk
Na gaskets will do !
Theres fuck all differance ,8.2 or 9.0 to one
But how confusing , im told today that 6a13 gaskets should fit , but gotta buy em to find out , so 450 pounds later plus freight to find out
Hmmmm

Re: little hulk
Even if the gaskets don't fit (im sure most will), its still a cheap set of head bolts and valves
Bit of luck the 72 valves are bigger than the 73 !

Again thanks mick
And jimmy , its never to late , when I finish hulk im gunna do my la coupe /2dr
With my full house 4g63 ,out of my world time attack car , it made 1082 at the treads
And its no dyno pony , and ps you do need a 64 crank to make hp , and the 63 makes power to 8000rpm

Re: little hulk
So did some more today
And as I have been working I have now noticed the next major issue , the clutch slave cylinder fouls on the steering and I need to relocate the mounts
So looks like cut the mount of the bellhousing and relocate it 10mm back and rotate the bolts about 30 degrees , so soon as pipes are done there's another job to put on the list
Cheers stealth
