No with Just Cars (aami) - and its an option - so I'm paying a bit extra to include that now .

Mr Joel remove'n more rust.

Turbo is back again - blaming the filter for being to much of a restriction, oil gets sucked from behind the compressor wheel. Would make sense if it wasn't the same filter on there before rebuilt :banh:.
To be on the safe side going with a 5" filter now, with reducer to 4".

What the hell is wrong with that turbo? Did you melt it??? :|
We PAID a shop to do that 10+ years ago - a quick check by Joel found metal strips glued in, then bogged and painted. Maybe thats why they closed down.
The turbo was fine - puff of smoke now and then, not bad for 5 years of boosting - had it reconditioned while wait'n on the head - by the 3rd trip it was stuffed - oil from behind the comp wheel.
Its back again now. Just need to install. Turbo dude is blaming the air filter - to restrictive - same filter that was on before and never had a problem. :banh:
Have a 5" K&N ready to go in now.

And that will be it for awhile. Only rust left is around the window, and that will be done when the car is striped and painted.

New fuel reg - non adjustable to keep the powers that be happy.

Chased up a few numbers - maybe useful to others.

2.5 Bar - 36.3 psi
Bosch # 0 280 160 227

3.0 Bar - 43.5 psi
Bosch # 0 280 160 249 The one I got. May get two yet.

3.5 Bar - 50.7 psi
Bosch # 0 280 160 263

3.8 Bar - 55.1 psi
Bosch # 0 280 160 287

These are all drop in the magna rail - But the return on the last two has a different fitting (screw on not barb).

Image

And anyone that's go'n twin fuel rails post what you have done. (injectors / pumps - rails separate or one feeds the other etc)

patience.. pff - that went ages ago.

Power - only dyno I have is 156kw@14 or 16 psi (boost low due to injectors)- Keep in mined I run low comp 6.9 so need more boost. Seriously needs a tune, but has been put off again due to the twin rail intake getting done.

Garrett - 60-1 Say the turbo dude. But may use the gt35r from the GK yet.

And Chris - this is why the GK is on the back burner.

Small update.

Larger ports.
Image

New cam wheel trigger disk, thicker/lighter than the old magna pulley.
Image

Also have a Carter P4601 fuel pump, new surge tank and a 044 for the secondary rail with 4 x 1000cc injectors.

Should I keep the 910 pump for the primary fuel rail that has 4 x 550cc or add another 044 to dual feed both rails?

If it was a Scorpion - maybe.

Small update...

Passed rego with just a ball joint to change. Nissan in there wisdom don't sell just the ball joints on there own. You buy a complete new arm (I run a s13 front end for those that don't know). Unfortunately local auto place can't get any new sigma LCA bushes. I'm sure If I searched a bit longer some would have turned up. Anyone else starting to have the same problem?

The fix - Sleeves for the s13 bushes.
Image

No idea when the paint will be going on. Will have to warm up and need Mr Joel to pull finger out. Till then I've been on the look out for different badges.

Image
Image

After another ∑ and Galant badge if anyone has. And I know theirs very little chance - glove box badge.
