yeah i know bro,but what can i do?? i cant baby sit them and see exactly what there doing as im busy with work.i tell them when they find anything wrong to let me know before doing anything but even then i still get overcharged,i think anyway?the most thing that adds up is there so called labour?? :think:

i know im blabbering :blah: :blah: :blah: on but maztec called again today and pretty much told me that they still cant figure out whats wrong with my car?they said they pulled the head off (dont know why) and still running like crap,but there telling me ite getting better :( ..i spoke to my mate that built the motor and told him the situation,he said that his gonna call maztec on monday to discuss what the bloody hell is going on.it seems to me that instead of them trying to fix the problem there trying to blame my mate for it not running properly?my mate didnt like that :@ ..ill see what happens on monday :facepalm: :banh:

yeah id be pi@#ed ! .. :wut: .they took the head off...wtf??? unnecessary expense to you.. especially if the found nothing wrong.. i feel for ya dude...hard to get good help advice sometimes.. :( :(

But the car is at Maztec, they were probably just really excited about having a real engine in there and the head is something fascinating :lol: :lol: :lol:

yeah but after i got off the phone i realised that if they pulled the head off,means that they have to get another steel head gasket??right?? well i know they cant get one 'off shelf ' as ive tried and i had to get it from the states and waited 3weeks for it to arrive?? lies i think 8o| 8o|
ill wait for monday and see what happens,in the mean time i have painted all the plastic moulds on my car,boot spoiler and lip spoiler,inside the bonnet and boot and both mirrors and petrol cap..

i honestly didnt know at the start if i should colour code the bars and moulds or not but i think the final result speaks for itself.people that know sigma's would actually see that not only the moulds are colour coded but also the side mirrors.
the moulds and bars are a slightly different black (paint code:EBBONY) to the rest of the car but work so well with it,not that noticeable,even on these pics but with the red stripe and obviously thrm being basecoat over clear they will stand out like dogs balls. :lol:

OK guys,i just got off the phone from maztech and finally some good news..they got the car running really well and pretty much dynoed the car already! i wanted to be there but didnt get a chance to go thanks to my work...anyway the power figures as the car stands on 10psi it has made 187.8KW ATW.i was expecting alot more but im just glad that im getting it back healthy..he reckons that the turbo isnt the best though! in his words he says that the car on the dyno is set to be very relaible for the power its making any more and it wont be..he told me with a new turbo and 15psi the car will easily make 220-250atw,in saying that i just wanted good power and reliability..so right now im very happy with the power figures!
im getting a phonecall first thing in the morning for the final quote?? :o i really dont know what to expect ??i havnt driven the car as yet,still need to paint the rest of the bolt on bits so there's still a bit left on the car.at least the engine headaches ar out of the way.. :thumpsup:

OK guys,i just got off the phone from maztech and finally some good news..
They worked out what valves do?? :lol:

Thats pretty good news on the power front though, sounds like a pretty mild tune at 10psi so 190rwkw is a good figure :thumpsup:
Now hurry up and put it back together and get some good completed pics for us to drool over.

Funny you should say that once the hardtop is finished I will be doing a GOR trip so you will have to organise a Melbourne meet for me, lol

You bring that car down to SA and ill put reg on the SIG. Can guarantee without fail it will get defected lol. but fuck it, It will b worth it.

hey bro,you guys organise the meet and ill be there 110%..its a f@#kn 7 hour drive but it will be worth it! but will have to be on a weekend that way ill either get a hotel booked or give me time to drive back to melbourne.. :D

funny you say that buds,they rang me today and gave me the quote..after spending over $5k last time they thought they would be leaniant and quote me $1000,for pretty much jack sh@#...NEVER AGAIN..
i was going to take my little brothers rx2 capella to them but now i might just take it and all my other work to DYSONS ROTARIES..i wont be building another car after this is finished anytime soon.except for vn ss,but thats been goin on for a while and the misses actually likes me spending money on that car :o ..

$1000 does seem pretty reasonable but like you said, did they actually do most of what they said or was it just tuning?

Mines a highflowed RX7 Turbo so i think yours should be ok for some decent boost, what comp and pistons you running ?

TUFSIG R34 turbo's can only handle 12psi before the rear ceramic wheel blows off :(

yeah bro,dave beat me to it..coz the rear housing is ceramic they cant handle alot of boost.so on 10psi ist pretty much on par for being safe..rx7 turbs are pretty good so ive heared!
