Mind if I make a suggestion?
You could mount it down next to the block where the aircon compressor is, like a 4AGZE? Unless you want to keep the aircon, in which case I have no idea. lol

Re: Sigma GK GSR daily - project SC14
personally id like to somewhat mod it to so the charger can sit in the bay without having a scoop, dunno how id go about that though...
and yer removed the aircon no need for it haha

Re: Sigma GK GSR daily - project SC14
Here is a way that someone has attached the SC14 the same way you have, and placed the carbie above the engine to make the scoop centre in the bonnet. Something like that could be used with a side draft carbie to remove the need for the scoop.

Re: Sigma GK GSR daily - project SC14
Thats a bloody good idea cottee's, I think that should give GC75 something to think about. Would be good if you could get away from the bonnet scoop idea.
Re: Sigma GK GSR daily - project SC14
yeah that would be mad, defiantly some thinking involved now haha...
thought of an idea to... if i have a side draught carby, maybe i could run a heat shield over the charger and the inlet manifold to somewhat hide it to... then will be easier to drive as i could pretty much drive it illegally then, without the need to find my ways through the system

Re: Sigma GK GSR daily - project SC14
bit of an update;
^^
- Engine all pretty again, still going to take off extractors and paint again...
- Going to paint battery tray, and catch plate under the engine.
- Also going to paint the pipe on the side of the block to try prevent it corroding yet again.
Sigma is currently at the shop getting a bunch of my parts installed...
upon going there today to see how its going i see it parked next to the following... you can tell whos is prettier !
Don't get it back till Monday...
so weekend involves lots of painting... which is the following;
- struts (painting black)
- wheel spacers (painting black)
- calipers (going red)
sort of thought id get it done today, mechanic says otherwise

Re: Sigma GK GSR daily - project SC14
also may add, wiring is getting re-done and cleaned up in next few weeks hopefully if funds are good.
Sick of the messy wiring, therefore needs to be cleaned up...
also putting in new welsh plugs, one is stuffed... and a better thermostat... engine is also been checked for compression after...
thinking of getting a new steering box off ebay, sick of mine squeking, also going to fix a few other squeks such as my seat and drivers door, also want the intruments working other then the speedo...
going to clean out the tank once and for all and put new lines throughout.
after all this is done might consider power steering then the rust in the vessel.

Re: Sigma GK GSR daily - project SC14
Was just wondering about how the sc14's pulley will reach the same level as the crank pulley on the 4g54..Looks like the picture suggests a custom extended shaft and pulley? Considering the costs involved, wouldnt it be more cost worthy to use an m90 off a commodore since it already has an extended pulley? Otherwise running a blow through set up with an sc14 to minimize costs.
Just a thought since I want to supercharge my 4g54 too lol.

Got these, turns out to be a bit of drama...
- electric fuel pump is now hooked up and working (was hooked up to the return line )
- fixed some wiring (starter wires were fucked, also putting in some fuses.)
- bought some filters for them, turns out there the wrong type... and that one of the carbies threads are totally different grrrr....
- also gotta block up a port in the head, as the manifold is diffferent, bought some devcon and a bolt to fit the whhole nice and snug....
got it running today thanks to mick, shall have it on the road tmoz.
