Nice to see you are getting into it again, I thought you might have lost the faith when it died a few months back.
Good to see you kept the black rocket cover :lol:

yup still got her :)

haha yeah still has the locker, and ive got over dominating the streets and shreeding rubber. :thumpsup:

Blew the head gasket in the engine that i bought it with.

Then fucked yet another engine.

Now on my 3rd engine, bout the only problems ive had haha.

Still got a set of 225 65's for the rear :)!

yeah been treating me alright other then the odd engine troubles, now i gotta replace welsh plugs in the current engine, leaking coolant but not as bad as the others haha. (scorpion bottom end)

Getting there with it, fixed everything up pretty much interior wise, getting the car more reliable and what not. Got the rust quoted and plan to make it look clean and shmick again! Just want a decent little cruiser out of it :D

also got these in the mail;
Image

now all i need to do is buy monroe shocks and the thing should handle alot better, but supercheap quoted me $550 which im not happy with haha. Also gunna whack some newer welsh plugs in the engine, to prevent more troubles.

Got new shoes off my brother;
Image
Need spacers to fit the fronts though, hopefully have them on and working next week.

Also got a new clutch cable off my brother thats still in its package. Another problem that will be resolved as the one im using currently is pretty worn and shows its age.

Plan on doing a boot insert using checker plate, and also going to paint the inner boot with some por15... that way i can mount my amp and shit in the boot properly instead of having it move round the boot. Also clean up more said wiring problems.

After i get things cleaned up some more and get it running realiable with my new brakes/shocks/springs ill look into having the rust cut out...

Still gotta find some fusion speakers for the door trims which i will put in eventually haha.

in general got a few ideas that should make the GSR appear, and go better. :thumpsup:

Looks like they sit a fair bit further in the guards than the stockers, I'm going to take a stab and say they came off an FWD? Need spacers for the rear too, a 30mm bolt-on per side should do the trick :)

GSR's have a theme ??

Oh hang on the GSR's theme was a domesticated sports car with wheels that looked like kitchen utensils

GC maybe you need to cable tie some pots and pans to them rims so they fit the "GSR Theme" :lol:

or maybe you can add these

Otomoto sell universal camber tops, astronturbo77 used them for his Lancer. Or you could weld up the original bolt holes in the strut tower, redrill and use S13 cambertops.
You can spin the factory strut tops around too, should give you another 1-1.5deg of camber. I did this on my Scorp in about 5 minutes, it made the car a little unstable >120km/h but it turns in a lot better.
Too bad it's not a GE/GH, with a bit of filing you can use KE70 cambertops in those as the bolt pattern for the strut tops is very similar.
That takes care of the camber thing, I'd be going to a coilover front end as well though otherwise you'll be hitting the strut tower with the spring when you adjust the cambertops for more negative camber.
Rims look ok, I still think you need spacers though :P

I think I know what it is about the wheels that I'm unsure on.
I think the alloy centre distracts from the other wise black wheel with polished lip.
Paint the centre of them black and it will improve the look of them.

Ordered my monroe shocks, Should have them after the easter long weekend....

then to install the following;
- Monroe Shocks
- King Springs
- Slotted Disc Brakes
- New Clutch Cable

also going to do the following;
- Clean up the Struts and file down the weld on the strut for a bit more clearance for my welds. (Gunna paint them red)
- Slotted Rotors + Spacers painted (Black paint to match rims)
- Going to pull the water pipe off and give it a coat so doesn't rust or corrode as easy (Red Paint)
- Give the brake Calipers a coat (going red paint)
- Pull the Extractors back off and paint them aswell... (going to have them Sandblasted then painted Black)
- Battery Tray (paint Black)
- Rocker Cover is also getting re-painted (Red again)
- Fix Welsh Plugs + Theromostat.

Then going to fix wiring in the ole girl, and start my boot insert and start the rust work. :thumpsup: :thumpsup:
