I have spoken to you about this before in person.
But I'll write it here for everyone else's benefit so they can comment on what I have said.
I think the car is too highly modified to change it back to standard easily (I'm referring mostly interior here). How would you go getting tidy original door trims etc for it now anyway?
As for the exterior colour/style of the car, I think the car looks fantastic the way it is. I show people photo's of our meet ups and it's your car they go wow over.
I think it would be a shame to change it all back to a more standard look, but I understand why you would want to.

and i am thinking it would be actually worth more, and get more interest from collectors and enthusiests??
I disagree. Just look at Mad Day, 77galantv6's car was getting all the looks and appreciation while he had it's bonnet open. They would see his motor and then progress to check the whole car out, and then walk away without even looking at my twin carb setup and lightly modified car.
As far as value goes, I think the amount of time/money it would cost to change it back would make it not worth it.
When it's all said and done, it's your car so do what you want, and you know I'll help you do it when and if I can, but I think when you finish it, you will be disappointed with the result?
Remember, you can't stand how slow my wagon is. Because that is the ball park of what you are suggesting for yours
