Re: G spec GH
I would choose the one on the right because I hate those "wings" around my head, but safety wise the centre one would be better.
Re: G spec GH
Middle seat will eventually get on your nerves squeezing in and out of it and the outer bolstering will wear out. For safety, yes it's the best option. But if you want a seat you can live with day to day, take the right seat.

Re: G spec GH
well after some stuffing around today i only have one choice and thats the middle seat, the other seat is too high meaning if i sit in it with a helmet on my head hits the roof
so chosen seats will now go to trimmers and get covered to match the interior, spewing that i ordered black instead of polished carbon fiber oh well i'll just spray the backs blue lol

Why would use a crappy microtech on what is otherwise an impressive
Build there are far superior engine management systems that would have
cost not much more

Like ?? a sprint 500 perhaps ? nope didnt have what i needed ! the sport 2000 had what i needed but it was almost $1000 more than the mtmilotan wrote:Why would use a crappy microtech on what is otherwise an impressive

The lt16 is a good unit, the main reason i went with Microtech is when i rang i got to speak to the bloke that was actually building the unit and he could build me exactly what i needed, it had nothing to do with price even though i got the ecu + hand controller, wiring harness, sensors, injector plugs, and postage for $150 more than a sprint 500

Re: G spec GH
steering is heavier at low speed still pretty light though, my wife has no problems with it
it stops better than a sigma ever did as it has big vented falcon discs

Re: G spec GH
hey mate just a question for you i am fitting a 308 to my sigma i have stole your engine mount plate idea and i have made that but are you running mounts off the rear of the engine or just the crossmember for the gearbox??? was just wondering if i need extra mounting at the moment wont be excessive power, the engine is a 355 with solid cam and headwork and will run nitrous dont know the power its running yet.....just seeing what your thought are
Thanks
Thanks

Re: G spec GH EFI 351 V8
had it on the dyno last week for a tune had some troubles with the coils shutting down and not revving over 5000rpm, still made a tad over 300whp so it should be interesting to see what it makes once the coils are sorted and some more rpm
It feels pretty strong when its on the converter !

Re: GH Sigma EFI 351 V8
some more progress
had to do something with the pod filter so the cops don't get to excited when they decide to have a look
JNT performance have these great pod covers, but fitting it in the bay was going to be tight
It kind of fouled with the wiring, light relays and factory ignition module that occupy that side of the bay, basically I had to get rid of anything that wasn't needed and move the stuff I do need
so the ballast resistor, factory ignition module and most of the wiring was removed and given the flick, then the head light and high beam relays were to the other side of the bay and the wiring changed to suit
Now I have a nice big void free of mess, while I was at it I changed the std brittle light plugs for some porcelain jobbies
Next was to enclose this area, I used 1.5mm aluminium, making these panels was pretty easy to do because I made them from cardboard first then used it as a template
the bottom panel required some welding
There's also a panel that covers this section and tucks in behind the radiator, hopefully it will direct air to where it needs to go
Just needs some paint and that's it !

Hey amgis, I'm guessing the 4th coil fouls on something on the drivers side? Where are you hiding it??

...err, a 351 powered Sigma needs NOS? Is it really that slow? Still, I like the super clean look of the engine bay - awesome stuff

Re: GH Sigma EFI 351 V8
You can just see the 4th coil on the rear of the rocker cover in the above pics, but if not heres a closer look
Perhaps something like this is more in order ?

Re: GH Sigma EFI 351 V8
shit is cool.. personally if you were to go force fed i'd stick to the turbo preferably as they just sound so mean! either way this thing would haul with or without forced induction.

This is how you remove just over 2kg from a GH rear bumper support, I could probably remove close to another kilo
so its gone from 7.3kg down to 5.19kg
